Winery & Boutique Hotel
Babaneuris Marani
ABOUT
ABOUT
Babaneuris Marani - the vineyard, winery and boutique hotel nestles in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus mountain range, in sight of the major historic and cultural sites of Kakheti.
We produce wines from four Georgian grape varietals: Saperavi, Mtsvane, Kisi and Rkatsiteli, all grown in our 11 hectares of vineyard directly adjacent to the property.
Our wines are made in Qvevris - the traditional earthenware amphoras buried in the cool earth - in the same way it's been done in Georgia for over 8,000 years.
The winery 's boutique hotel has 13 bedrooms, an all-year heated swimming pool, hiking trails in the forests & foothills, and an acclaimed restaurant serving classic Georgian cuisine - with a twist - from locally sourced organic produce.
